The Balcom Agency in Fort Worth has a great creative team and a list of all-star clients. One of those clients is the world’s leading eye care company, Alcon Laboratories. Alcon is doing great work to lead the charge in glaucoma research.

In order to spread that message and educate individuals on the pervasiveness of this disease, we were charged with creating an animated video that clearly stated Alcon’s dedication to innovation and research on Glaucoma.

When presenting a subject this complex and technical, it’s important to keep the message simple and support that message with iconography and visuals. The Balcom team did a fantastic job of writing, designing, and creating a graphical vision. We then brought those images to life through kinetic text, motion graphics, and animation. The video has received much acclaim on the web, being chosen as a featured video on popular design blog, Motion Design Love.

This was a really fun project and one that we could further our passion for creating visually illustrative presentations of complex ideas and processes.

We’ve since reanimated the video into Spanish and Portuguese.
